Who likes this knife?I keep this one in my car and use it when camping and cutting various stuff around the house.serrations perform very well and they are at tip of blade which I find very use full when cutting food.its easy to get sharp on sharpmaker.I like this one better than most spydercos and benchmades Lol.Whatever knife I use I keep coming back to my victorinox folding and kitchen knives.anyone else share same opinion?in my book victorinox steel is one of best for any tasks :),along with price and quality.

I dont have a Sentinel but I can understand the appeal. I've got three 111mm Vics, one of which is a Skipper and has a serrated blade. Vic serrations are great! They cut like crazy but aren't too aggressive and are easy to keep sharp.

I've carried and used various Swiss Army Knives since the 1970s, and I don't consider their blade steel to be "the best" for much of anything. One of the easiest to sharpen and fastest to dull in use, I carry them for the tools and carry a real knife to cut things.

I would say "the best" steel is rather subjective. The SAK is an "every man" tool and I think the blade steel is suitable for that purpose. Takes a nice edge and though it won't stay sharp forever, it's easy to maintain.
