Beautiful, more ornate than we've seen in the past. Great size knife.

Are my eyes playing tricks on me? Are these Suga's lines more in tune with the traditional hunting Suga knife? This Suga's tip seems to curve and aim up, ever so slightly. In contrast, my Sugas (mid size, and baby) with bone handles are more khukuri like. That is the point flows with the slope of the spine.

Or maybe it's just the way the are sharpened differently. The finished edge at the tip is certainly different.

Example of prior Suga:

The Padam Suga's definitely had an upswept top swedge, and it was sharpened too! I gifted a few to my avid hunting friends, and the love this version, as they were able to really get the tip in and backcut using the top swedge to go through tendon, and joints. The nice big belly made it easy to field dress their kills.
