Hi all. We’re selling a batch of vintage, pre-2007 Cold Steel folders that were made in Japan before production was shifted to Taiwan. The workmanship on these is near flawless. Just amazing. Considering these were made 15 years ago, with only a riveted pivot and moulded plastic handles, the tolerances, locks and handles are exceptional. While they’re only VG-1 stainless steel, these are RAZOR SHARP with perfect grinds (one of them bit me bad while I was taking the photos, see below). They’ve just sat in a cupboard, unused. Unfortunately though, most don't have the original paperwork.
Some of these are pretty rare, you’ll be lucky to see them again.
We have (priced in USD/AUD):
2x Voyager Clip Point #29LCS (Serrated) - $90US/$125AUD - SOLD
1x Voyager Clip Point #29LCH (Half-Serrated) - $90/$125 - SOLD
1x Voyager/Gunsite Tanto Point #29LTS (Partially Serrated) - I think the box is labelled incorrectly (I think the actual product number for this is #29GLTH?), but this has a very nice classic Cold Steel tanto profile - $145/$200 - SOLD
1x Land & Sea Rescue - Chisel-ground serrated sheepsfoot blade, looks very cool - $90/$125 - SOLD
1x The Voyager Extra Large #34 XCS (Serrated) - $160/$220 - SOLD
1x Voyager "X2" #29XXCS (Serrated) - $180/$250 - SOLD
Vaquero Grande (“Nogales” Clip Point - Serrated) #21GNS, comes with Zytel sheath, but unfortunately the box is dinged up - This knife is not for the office and cocktails; it is for wielding majestically or killing elephants - $130/$180 - SOLD
Gunsite Extra Large #29GXTH (Half-Serrated 5" blade) - $220/$300 - SOLD
Postage is $9AUS in Australia (or free pickup), otherwise $20AUD for postage to the rest of the world.
NOTE: I think some people are quite anxious about knives being shipped to or from overseas. Just FYI, I've never had a problem posting gear to people from here in Australia. I'll also be using double-sided tape inside the envelope to hold it all inside. Australia Post usually uses EMS as its international courier service.
