Vintage PUMA Knives 905 Duke, and 960 Cub

Up for sale are 2 PUMA knives. They are being sold as a pair. These knives do need some TLC. The cost for the pair is $SOLD.

First Up the 905 Duke.

• Vintage 905 Duke (~30yrs old)
• Date Code: 26182 (2nd 1/2 of 1981)
• Used knife. This knife needs a good cleaning (I am unsure what cleaning permanently damages the knife, so I will do none. The action is very tight (not a surprise given the age and the need for a good cleaning). There is no blade play that I can detect.
• Blade is in good condition. There is a small "pit" near the thumb slot. Writing is clean. Edge looks to be user sharpened. There are no nicks in the blade edge visible with the naked eye. Blade is not centered see picture
• Scales: No major scratches or dents in the bone scales.
• Bolsters: Believed to be brass. There is a bit of tarnish on them. No major nicks or deep scratches.

Next Up is the 960 Cub

• Vintage 960 Cub (~30yrs old)
• Date Code: 25082 (2nd 1/2 of 1980)
• Used knife. This knife needs a good cleaning (I am unsure what cleaning permanently damages the knife, so I will do none. The action is very tight (not a surprise given the age and the need for a good cleaning). There is no blade play that I can detect.
• Blade is in good condition. There is a small "pit" near the thumb slot. Writing is clean. Edge looks to be user sharpened. There are no nicks in the blade edge visible with the naked eye. There is a small "dent" or dipple near the lock bar.
• Scales: No major scratches or dents in the wood.
• Bolsters: Believed to be brass. There is a bit of tarnish on them. No major nicks or deep scratches.
