Vintage Schrade Old Timer USA made and Cherokee Solingen Steel

You should be able to find a pile of info on the Schrade with just a Google search.

The 1250T was made for a long time, came with a leather belt sheath. I had a bunch of them over the years.

If I remember correctly, the older 1250's had the nail nick that was closer to the tip. I believe this was up until the early 90s when they moved the nail nick more toward the center of the blade, much like yours.

A bit more Googling brings up Cherokee as an old (80s-ish) Stewart Taylor brand. Some of the old Cherokee patterns are still made under his S&W and Schrade brands.

"Solingen" on the blade doesn't mean anything on these pieces. Might have been made in Pakistan even.

That's a cool little pattern though. I have one of the S&W trapper models with that razor style blade. I think it's cool as hell.

Not worth much.

Here are your pictures. I don't know much about the knives. I had one of those old timers back in 1975, but in about six months of use the pivot got so loose I didn't trust it. So I gave it away and bought a Buck 110.
