Hey guys,
Here’s one I recently finished.
W2 with hamon
Burlap micarta and orange and green g10 liners all provided by the customer.

First time I’ve left an as forged finish on the flats.
I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Thanks for looking.

I have to re-etch the spine, otherwise it’s done.

Hell ya bro!! That hamon is nice. Isn't it the worst when one side has all this cool activity and then the other is kind of boring haha. It especially drives me crazy when I alrdy out my name/mark on the less interesting side.

Thanks guys.
Dudley, I’m glad you get use out of it.

Paul, I’m just happy with what I get when I get a good hamon. I don’t like marking the blades with the hamon on them though, I need to start putting my name on the spine or somewhere. Maybe the ricasso so it doesn’t look weird on the hamon.

Thanks Matt, John.
I think I want to finally try a hidden tang with a guard on something like this. I really liked the contrast as well from rough to smooth.
