Here is one I forged out of W2 roundbar. It has been clay coated for the quench, to reveal a nice bold hamon. It is a through tang and is very solidly constructed.
The handle is Bocote, shaped and polished to fit the hand well. The "ferrule" part of it is african blackwood.
The sheath is 7-8oz hand tooled leather from Wickett and Craig. It holds the knife securely and allows for a nice easy draw.

Blade - 4 1/4" tip to handle
Cutting edge - 3 1/2"
OAL - 8 1/2"
