This is one LARGE KNIFE! It measures 19 inches in total, from tip of blade to rear of brass pointed pommel. FULL TANG of course! The HILT includes the 1 inch custom brass pommel, the BRASS KNUCKLES, the ivory inserts in the handle, and the 2 gold colored coins embedded in the handle on both sides. It also includes a 4-1/2 inch wide, 1/2 inch thick massive brass guard. Then, there's the blade - and what a blade!! Over 13 inches long, 1/4 inch thick, lathe turned steel all the way down the middle on both sides! And WADE CHRISTIAN'S ENGRAVING (incl. his initials!) on one side of the blade, 1 inch from the base!
Wade Christian was a master engraver of guns, rifles, and knives, in addition to being a master knife maker! This was a SOLO project. He made the knife, and engraved it! It's a huge, massive piece - great leather sheath too, custom made for it! 9 out of a 10, at least. See the photos! There are 9 of them!
The knife cost over $2,000 5 years ago. I'm taking $1,495 or "best offer"...shipping will have to be by UPS, and will be $25. If it's more, I'll cover the difference.
