Hey gang!
I just got back from Southern Illinois where my Dad and I did some waterfowl hunting. We really wanted to hunt ducks, but the geese were really moving in our area. I'm from Ohio where Canada geese are the most prevailant, but there were TONS more snow geese and speckled belly geese where we were. The weather was really nice (not great for goose/duck hunting), so we only had a few shots over the whole weekend. We still ended up scoring 6 geese and a mallard between us.
I bought a Bark River Mini Northstar before the trip, and I used it to breast out the birds. It was an amazingly sharp little knife and did really well cleaning the geese. I tried to get pics of me cleaning a goose with it, but they didn't turn out very well. Sorry! Nice knife, though...
Enjoy!
