Here's a little waterproof neck kit that I pieced together with:
  • Spyderco Salt Ladybug
  • Kydex sheath
  • Fox40 Micro whistle
  • Suunto clipper compass
  • Breakaway slip knot on the lanyard
Can be worn 24/7 because it's completely waterproof.

Lies really flat and is unobtrusive and also very light.

Definitely some decent utility in a daily wearable setup.

Whaddya think!?

Looks very comprehensive! How secure is the kydex?

Very secure! It takes a good tug to get the knife out and deployed.

I don't foresee it coming out of the sheath any other way... And even if it somehow could, the knife would most likely come out closed, as the lockback detent is so solid.

It really takes a solid tug / snap to get it out.
I'm very impressed with the design.

I have the tan Ladybug salt that CountyComm offered some years ago. I recently wore mine with a thin piece of cord through the lanyard hole. I secured it from opening by another thin cord and an O-ring.

I've found this kit to be super handy when I need a sharp little point, but more often on an early AM when I get up and don't have jeans with pockets and my full daily carry aboard...

This little thing is always there, handy, comfortable and incredibly useful!

The paracord lanyard REALLY fills out the hand and provides a fantastic grip, as well.

What do you guys carry as a pajama knife?
:D:p:cool::confused:o_O
