To Paracelsus and others, I got ordered the Knife House Hara Lakeland with the abalone inlay from Arizona Custom Knives. The knife looked so good I felt I had to take chance despite some negative comments. I just got it today and my immediate reaction is that this knife is outstanding! It has a beautiful mirror finished ATS-34 blade with beautiful ehgraving of the company logo in English and Japanese. The liners are jeweled steel that are marvelous in their appearance. The tolerances are very tight and the inlay is perfectly fitted. I can see why AZCK lists this with their customs instead of production pieces. This knife easily is as well finished as a $600 custom.
The knife is heavier than a comparable William Henry because of the use of steel instead of titanium. Frankly I don't mind, the weight (3oz.) is not that much and the extra thickness makes for better purchase.
The blade is 2.5" and the OAL is touch under 6". This is perfect size knife for airlines and for occassions when you want a knife that looks classy and attractive. I can't imagine anyone looking at this and not commenting on its beauty. More dealers need to check out Knife House Hara. I think that they are a real alternative to William Henry in gent knife area.
