look for postage scales or go to a culinary/kitchen/resturant supply store. You can get a descent digital scale for less than $35 at a head shop as well. But, upscale kitchen stores will have them as well.

Head/smoke shops, I think have the best digital scales. They have some that will weigh as low as nano grams all the way to pounds. Anywhere from $20 to $100.

(( deal-spotting )) sells digital postal scales under $30.
any place selling reloading supplies sells very precise digital scales as well - but they generally cost more than postal scales.
(( deal-spotting )) used to sell a decent 2 pan balance with a set of weights, too.

Yeah, I bought mine on (( deal-spotting )) too. Kind of funny though, if you look at the "users who bought this also bought" section, you can see a bunch of plastic baggies and stuff like that.

I was told the same thing. I wanted a digital scale that was reasonably accurate for the same thing (weighing knives, that is), and a coworker told me to look in a smoke shop. There's a smoke shop less than a 1/4 mile from me, but I never got around to checking there. I was in there once before (to buy a zippo wick), and coincidentally saw several switchblades (cheep junk; stillettos and an LCC clone).

I bet you can find a cheap digital scale at your local head shop. Beats paying shipping from some website.

I have (( deal-spotting )) Seems decent enough and they usually have it on sale to some degree for around $10-$12 they put out a ton of 20% off coupons too...

For high precision at a small range, consider the scales ammunition handloaders use to measure out gunpowder.

Gentlemen, posting links to non-Bladeforums paid Dealer is deal-spotting. Please don't. From the FAQ:

http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/f...sts#faq_faq_infractions_auction_deal_spotting

This is a variation of the "no spam" rules that we have. We know you found a great deal on a Ninja Death Tool 3000 - we don't care.

If that dealer wants to advertise on BladeForums.com, encourage them to purchase a Dealer membership here instead of giving them free advertising.

This infraction can be issued as a warning and is worth 10 points towards your total. It expires in 12 months.

A gun shop that caters to reloaders will have a good, accurate scale. Remember, the intended user of this scale faces serious consequences if the scale is inaccurate. Small inconsistency in one's "cigarette" is one thing, but inconsistency in the charge in one's ammo can be quite serious... even fatal.

Gollnick is pointing you in the right general direction....find a friend or acquaintance who reloads..most I know would be happy to weigh your knives.

Why buy a cow....
