Hey guys ,love me the Wenger swiss army knives (smaller and fit better in watch pocket vs Victorinox ) however have lost a few of the toothpicks that the come with them and are impossible to replace because Wenger is no longer in business ,so what do I do to replace lost toothpicks?

My wife picked up a box of plastic tooth picks at wally. They are called 'The Doctor's Brush Picks. I trimmed & shaped one to fit. They are inexpensive. Find them and see if you can make one work. Good luck, DM

I'm curious; is it not possible to make the Victorinox tooth pick work ?

After seeing this thread, I was looking around on the web yesterday for these replacement picks for the Wenger SAKs. Thought I'd found a source for a Wenger replacement tweezer/pick pair on the 'bay, but then saw the Item Description listing them as 'Used'. Wonder if that means 'pre-gnawed' for the toothpick. I don't know...

Seriously though, I did see that listing on the 'bay. Might be worth contacting that seller to ask for clarification of the description. Might be an oversight in the listing, as the pic included looked like new or 'as new' parts. Maybe something workable is there. Good luck.

View attachment 1191954 View attachment 1191955 My last SAK came with a drawer that holds a ball point pen, a pair of tweezers, a FerroCerium rod, and a wooden toothpick. I am not too keen on wooden or plastic toothpicks and much prefer a curved, tapered, stainless steel model. The wood or plastic picks are OK for spearing hors d’oeuvres (IMHO), but the push/pull capabilities of the curved model float my boat for dental work.

Has it come to this
discussing whether or not to buy a used tooth pick on ebay ?

and
and
people attempting to sell said used tooth picks

What NEXT ? ? ?
Some one actually buying a used tooth pick and shipping it half way across the country and looking forward to it's arrival ?

[well it made for a pretty little rant taken out of context; hopefully some psychiatrist or sociology person will come across this in a google search and be completely flummoxed.]
