Anyone have an idea what maker this could be ?
It seems to be a custom piece.

Looks almost like a Randall Bowie, the guard with the protrusions looks like one of the classics big Bowies they make, maybe the 12 sportsmans bowie. Just looked up on Randall made site, catalog models.

The grip, pins, and pommel look like a Pakistani Arkansas toothpick I have, except for the groove at the base of the pommel.

Yes, these are from the same family, sometimes Indian, sometimes Pakistani. The Bowie version isn't as popular, and harder to find, check import houses that deal in reenactment knives.

Good sleuth work in this thread.

So a $35 POS prop.
This set IS a game board, so to speak.
EDIT: amusement park

So, using a "prop" does seem to be fair. Especially, considering the timing of this knife is well into the timeline of having serious budgetary constraints.

EDIT: just realized appears to be same knife from preview (next post in this thread for related image documentation). But, still game/prop comment would apply.

I understand, we are knife peep's and would prefer to see higher grade representations of what's dear to us regardless. It is a pretty cool representation of a Bowie design carried into future including serious fighting guard and a skull crackin' pommel that looks like would well balance that long blade ;-)

Nope, but I think that he is Arnold's family.

Black Hat character (MIB - Man In Black) Arnold's family ...?

Hmmm, I don't really see that connection?

Appears to me MIB is more likely the evolution of Logan over passage of time & game play hardening his character (infatuated with & playing the game his company bought decades earlier ...?), and Bernard the recreation (animation/android) form of Arnold working to maintain the infrastructure of his design intentions.

OR
Maybe Wlliam turning to the dark side ...

How/where did MIB get knife from William ...? Or is there a duplicate(s) knife(s) in the timeline ...?

Appears to be same knife William has in preview, MiB has same knife in EP05 and back thru E01 or E02. Interested to see how the knife possession changes. (image below):

Perhaps, simply a case of characters issued the exact same knife ...? I will be seriously disappointed if this is the case :-/ (I can't remember William ever having a big knife, whereas MiB had that knife and spare barrel & cylinder for his pistol on his belt for multiple episodes.)

I do need to re-watch episodes soon to try & make sense of the various layers of timelines goin' on here, with eye on significance of knife/knives (especially with consideration they may be able to kill outside of games originally presented design parameters.

Cool to see a knife thread started here. Let's get some more pic's of knives from Westworld posted into this thread 👌

I don't buy idea that William and Logan are in different timeline than MiB. I think that Ed is playing brother of Arnold maybe, seeking for revenge/truth about his misterious death.

It's clearly confusing and intriguing to say the least ... ;-)

Regardless, we need more info & pic's on knives in this thread 👌

EDIT: I like the revenge/truth angle, but think Hopkin's would be all over a family tie like this.

New vid from Man at Arms brought me here:

Interesting to read some of the comments and predictions now the show has progressed much further. Funny it's just a Pakistani cheapo knife
