What a blade...

It's forged from 52100 steel, 19" of business end, handle is 17" made from bois d'arc wood ( "bo dark" if you're from the South), made by master smith Ray Kirk/Raker Knives. It's a very durable blade (the first thing I tried to chop when I got it was three pvc pipes filled with sand). Hopefully someday I'll have the opportunity to chop a pig in half with it.
