I’m planning to buy a new karambit or possibly even a regular handler knife.

Currently I already have a combat karambit and those are out of stock now anyway.

they have the bullnose karambit ,commander karambit , and cqc7 karambit.

My concern with the commander is that the blade curves a lot during the blade and then the cqc7 has a tanto tip creating two edges to sharpen not just one

mans then we have the bullnose that seems to be the most basic shape and
looks easiest to sharpen

any straight edge... usually a Wharncliffe... but a CQC7 tanto is another example.

CQC7 is easiest or a Bulldog. Two straight edges, no curves ti try and adjust for.

The recurve on the Commander makes it a bit more tricky.
