Been bouncing between my Link and gerber instant. Today the instant was the knife that helped my clear out my garden, chopping up old tomato plants, cutting twine and zip-ties, cutting plastic sheeting for the winter covers, etc. not a bad knife for the $$.

Ok, must admit that my pockets are lined with slightly non-budget blades, a ZT 0562CF and Spyder PM2. But, in front of me on my office desk I have these scattered around. They seem to get the bulk of my "office-y" tasks. Not only are these under $50, buy they are all well under $20.

What is that barlow with the wood scales?

It's a Rite Edge Barlow. They are about the best sub $10 Barlow's, that I've found. It is one of the models that I like to give away, and usually have 5-10 scattered between home/car/work to give away to friends and coworkers if a knife is needed.

I love this one. I got it for about $15.
