I never wear any knives on my belt, either in my pocket for little ones, or for the bigger ones, I have sheath made without passing a belt, in the American way ...
because most of the time, you always fold in two to be able to enter the knife in the sheath, it is very uncomfortable ...;)
 
Could you show a pic of one of those sheaths please?
