What do you carry at work?

Lately it's been my new large Sebenza in my front pocket and my smaller Skyline in my jacket pocket. Seems to make for a pretty good combo.

Currently un employed on the job hunt, but when I did have a job over the summer, I carried my PM2, a SAK classic on my toolbox keys and a was putting my Brous Blades SSV2 through its paces cutting cardboard, straps, plastic, prying things and whatnot. I worked as a machinist/laborer so I was always needing some kind of knife/pry bar and at 1/4 thick D2 it handled everything.

Neither. I've been here since November 2004, with almost 3200 posts and 100% positive Feedback in the trading sub-forums. I don't think I'm a troll. Most of the "regulars" here know what I do for a living.

Nope. I have legitimate reasons for carrying such things. You mentioned carrying a Blur or Knockout for work; which Blur do you prefer?

Apologies sir.
I rotate between a blur blem and a knockout blem as they tend to get pretty beat up.View attachment 330454

I always have My leatherman supertool 300, my cold steel pocket bushman, and if im not 60 ft up a tree i have a gerber big rock camp knife as a beater on my saw pants.
Im climbing specialist for a tree care company in winnipeg.

At my job I carry in my work truck: machete, bowie knife, pistol and shotgun, and folding knife clipped to my pocket.

I switch off to different machetes and knives etc. every other week, but right now I'm carrying the Ontario Rat 1 as my primary folding knife.

Monday to Thursday it's usually a Boker Trance. Fridays I switch between a waved Delica or a CM-waved 5.11 Journeyman.

For utility use I have a stag-handled Kiwi 3. I may switch that to a Buck 310 once I get the courage to shave a little off the frame and one scale.

At work I carry a Para 2, plus Victorinox Tinker and Classic. I do construction work, so they get used a lot.

Anything I want. :D

Mostly a SAK for practical reasons, my Umnumzaan if I know I'll be using it, Military maybe sometimes only because I like orange G-10.

These two most days:

I bought a cold steel recon 1 spear point to be my work knife, but still find my spydies and emersons sneaking back into my pocket from time to time, We have a "no knife policy" as well but It's kinda hard to open triple plastic wrapped boxes that have also been tape with just your fingers, so our knife policy gets ignored as well, you just get told Hey don't bring a freaking sword of a pocket knife in here.

It's funny that I have carried the same Leatherman on my duty belt for 16 years, but I don't consider it a knife really. In my pants I carry a Spyderco Assist. I'm really digging it. It is very strange looking, but super comfortable in use. I used to carry a Benchmade 916, Triage. Sold it though. Never warmed up to the way the blade was ground. Always seemed twisted or bent.

In the car I carry a backpack/ bug out bag. It contains ammo, batteries, extra junk and my Swamp Rat Ratmandu. I can't really think of a time when I would need it at work, but I have it and LOVE the knife, so I like to have it with me. I'm waiting on a Mashed Cat Sheath for it.

I am always shocked to see what some people carry as their EDC. I am active duty military (in a combat arms MOS) and I only carry a Case Sodbusters Jr and a Victorianox OHT daily. If I expect a little more rugged use knife will be necessary, I throw in the BK-11. Substancially more when deployed or in the field.....but this is daily.

In civies, it's a case stockman and the OHT.....if I leave the house, the 1911 goes along.

7 days a week I carry my Case trapper in my back pocket next to my wallet. At work I carry the trapper and a CRKT Zilla Tool. The Zilla Tool mostly for the pliers and screw driver.

Large Sebenza 21 and SAK Spartan. My grandma doesn't understand why I won't let her use the Sebenza. Family biz yes, nepotism maybe.
