The only Master Cutlery I'm familiar with is a primarily a purveyor of cheap knock-offs manufactured in mainland China. Is there another one?
Master Cutlery, Inc. has always been a pioneer in the knife industry in product development. We have the newest and hottest products in the entire industry...
Never held one, but looks like cheap junk based on the catalog.... If you want a well-made inexpensive knife, try starting with a Byrd from Spyderco.
That's all they have on it? I wouldn't touch a knife without specs listed: blade and overall length, handle material, blade steel, at a minimum.
Check this out, the original knife that they ripped off: designed by Phil Boguszewski, a noted custom knife maker, and manufactured for Cold Steel for years now in several models: http://www.coldsteel.com/tilite.html (Yes, you can get much better prices from a dealer.)
