These. The skeletool is ALWAYS with me. In the shower, it hangs right next to the towel. Everything else is pick and choose, although I just got the 0560 today, so it will be seeing some pocket carry pretty heavily for awhile.

All of that ugliness surrounding such a beautiful xm designed zt. I think it's a recurve blade design that I dislike.

benchmade 275 adamas, if you ask me this is the BK2 folder beckerheads have been wating for

bladeforums4.jpg

I was looking to see how many Beakerheads carried this blade. Without a doubt the strongest folder on the market and the only blade(folder) I've seen stand up to any amount of batoning you want to do. Its lock is over three times stronger than other Benchmade locks at over 1600 inch pounds. I'm surprised more Beckerheads don't carry this blade.

I'm really not a big fan of folders. I've had too many brands and styles to count throughout my life and never got attached to any particular one. They are ALL (no matter what brand, style) simply "use or lose" blades in my book. Folders are, IMO expendable items (well, all except the Benchmade auto I paid 155 for and it was stolen by US Navy Customs...I'm pissed about that one).

When I was a young infantryman at the 101st I rocked several Spyderco Endura (wait.....think early 90s with the fully serrated blade and plastic body). They were users and I abused the hell out of them. I still have two of them floating around the houe but they are all broken in some way.

Anyway, I have or had a CRKT M16 but I don't carry it any more because the clip came off and I lost the screws to replace the clip. (Yeah, I know petty right? well, so be it) I think I lost that one......maybe to be found by the kids after I'm long dead or something.

The wife got me the smaller version of the M16 for a replacement but I gave it to my son instead. He carries it in his camelbak when we are camping. So, as of now, I have a Gerber Fast "something or other" I don't know the name of it or...care. I got from a co-worker who found it and didn't want it. I use that now for EDC because the clip works really well (LOL). I like the assisted opening on it and the button safety on the scale but that is about it (the blade is half serrated shit IMO). Its a user and loser. Meaning....I'll use it until I lose it or break it, then I'll move on to something else.

Anyway, Hey, I don't mean to sound like a ass about my knives, I really don't, I just don't count on my folders lasting "my whole life" and I won't baby them to make them last. Sorry if I come off like a jerk.

I have a 14 on the way and am interested in carrying it EDC................we will see though.

Luke, how do you like that CRKT Ken Onyon design? I thought about getting one myself.

I got mine from the Mart of walls and its far lighter being aluminium and alot cheaper at about $20

There is no blade play, keeps an edge really well and is easy to sharpen, ergonomics are fantastic, feels like part of your hand, some like to lube up the bearings inside the IKBS but I never have and it's still fast and smooth.

Great slicer and its got a strong tip, fit and finish is pretty good.

I use it alot and its lightweight.

The one that started the madness--Spyderco Standard.

I constantly have a Spyderco rescue 93 mm in my pocket, and have recently begun carrying a Victorinox Super Tinker.

I have been carrying the Kershaw Cryo everyday for about a month. Love this little blade. Price is right at $30.
