This is a new handle combo I am trying out I would be interested in your feed back . The pattern is based on the trial hiker but scaled up slightly to give a little more belly but keep the same balance. For those that have to use their knife as a striker on a there freo rod the exposed end of the tang is squared off.

Dan that's cool, I've been using my trail hiker heavily in the kitchen since I got it, it's one of the best slicers I have

In the flesh the texture in these pics is polished smooth, the filler is an epoxy so it can be ruffed up and the honey comb is aluminum so it is very soft and will be flush

slightly bigger then the trail hiker 1/4" longer and with more belly but it has the same balance
total length 8.5"
blade length 4"
Width (from spin to belly) 1"

I was wondering if the honeycomb was the texture on the top. Good to hear it is smooth. I really like the look of all of them. They would be hard to lose as a side bonus.
