IMO Scott Cook made one of the first, and the very best, integral folders - the Lochsa - but I have been chasing one for over a decade. Michael Raymond is a custom maker who makes integrals that are very nice. I think he studied under Scott Cook. I owned an Estrella but sold it and I regret it to this day. His integrals are also highly prized.
The XLC from MBK had caught my eye at some point in time, but for whatever reason I quit liking the design after thinking about it for long enough.I like the WE Mini Synergy very much. The handle texture and 3D contouring is sweet.

But I think my favorite is the MBK EZC 2.0. The plain and elegant design just works so well with the integral construction.

I'd love to check out the Liong Mah L-1 at some point but it's just too dang expensive for me.
How’s the action on it? Haven’t got my paws on a Rike yet as they tend to be pretty expensive…Andre de Villiers made by Rike knife - Scavenger

I wanted the one for $360, but unfortunately that money went to a Shiro…AAAaaarrrrgggghhh!
Thanks!I wanted the one for $360, but unfortunately that money went to a Shiro…
Also seen ones for $450, $500, and even seen one for $600+ that I don’t think sold.
I’ll shoot you a PM if I ever see another for a reasonable price. I take it you’re not an exchange surfer?
Nice! Not my style, but I can appreciate anything made by Reate on matter of principle.I almost pulled the trigger on a Liong Mah Model 18 last week.
Made by Reate with a few varieties and some unique features.
