I am a Buck 110 guy. I own five. However...
I would like to get one tactical style, quick-open flipper that is fun to manipulate with one hand. I would like to stay with Buck, so.... What would you buy?

The Buck 830 Marksman is probably the best flipper Buck has made. Unfortunately, it is now discontinued. The best currently produced flipper is the 840 Sprint.

A good fidget knife would be a liner lock because you can close them one handed unlike the 110. I vote with T TheFishman about the 840 Sprint only because I have some experience having acquired one recently. It has a ball bearing pivot and snaps open fast with a flick of the protruding blade heel, then with a slight roll in the hand the thumb is guided down the groove into the notch to press the liner lock to close.

Honorable mention would go to the Paradigm. It was a frequent pocket carry In the past so that meant I fidgeted with it alot. That rotating bolster mechanism always intrigued me so I played with it alot. I loved handing it to people and amusingly watch them try to open it.

I am ordering a custom shop 110 in nickel/elk/Magna on payday, so I am going to order one of these to play with while I wait for my 110. :)

Mini Deploy for me. I fidgeted with mine so often during the day opening and closing it that the spring broke. Its on its way back from repair, this time around, I'll have to limit my fidgeting. Paradigm shift is an honorable mention.

Marksman except not easy to close one handed. I fidget my Vantages all the time
I beg to differ, sir. The Marksman is super easy, lightning fast, one-hand opening and closing, and completely ambidextrous. To close quick and easy, pinch the lock-bar on the sides between your thumb and middle finger, and push down on the spine of the blade with your pointer finger. Presto, the knife is closed. I'll try to take a video if I have some time tonight.

It's not a tactical knife, but the Buck 279 Alpha Hunter I own has such smooth and quick deployment. I believe they're discontinued but can be found used.
