What is it? 3 Edge Blade Naval Knife with Anchor Marks

I just picked this knife up but I can't find anything that looks remotely similar. The guy I got it from thought it was British because of the mark on the hilt but the mark is actually an anchor. On the other side is E over a star. The leather scabbard look very old. The brass tip also has the anchor mark. The blade is triple edged, kind of like a bayonet. It measures 12.25" long. The blade is 7". Does anyone have any clue??

The E* and anchor can be good clues .Are the edges sharp ? If not then it's only usefull as a weapon.

The edges aren't sharp. Its definitely only a weapon and a very deadly one at that

Its old because those triangular blades were banned by the geneva convention.
