What is the best/brightest 2 AAA flashlight?

I am looking into AAA flashlights and I am considering the Princeton Tec Blast, the UK2AAA Mini-Pocket Lights. I have the Nexstar bulbs for my AA Mini-mag and also considered a AAA mini-mag. Any thoughts as to quality and brightness and beam quality of the PT and UKE lights above, and how they may stack-up with the AAA mini-mag with Nexstar lamps?

Any thoughts from anyone with any of these lights would be appreciated.

Thanks, Bucky

They are all very close in intensity; the difference is more in beam shape and flashlight ergonomics. They all turn on and off by turning the head of the light.

The Princeton Tec Blast is a side-by-side battery configuration, and has a little wider beam so it is slightly dimmer, but lights a path better. It is waterproof.

UK2AAA Mini-Pocket Light is my favorite. Its beam is slightly tighter, and therefore a bit brighter than the Blast. The batteries are end to end. It is also waterproof.

AAA Mini-mag with the Nextstar lamps might be brighter than either and it does have the option of the focus from wide to spot. I personally prefer the beam output of the other two lights to the mag. The mag is "splash proof”, but not truly waterproof. Having said that I carry one with me all the time at work since I can change the focus and hopefully I don't get wet.

Ditto to what Brock said. I prefer the Princeton Tec Blast. I lost my Mini-Mag 2AAA before I bought a UKE Mini Pocket and Blast. So I can't compare. Besides, I put a red LED in the Mini-Pocket.

What I've done with my MityLites and Hubbelite clones is put in the Super MityLite lamp. Just as bright without the extra bulk.

The Pelican Tracker is on my to buy list. If it is anything significant I'll report back. It looks very bulky for a 2AAA, though.

I have a UKE 2AAA also, but it's the side-by-side configuration rather than the one-behind-the-other configuration. I like how small the side-by-side package is. Any reason the two different UKE 2-AAA lights might be different in brightness? I've been thinking they probably have the same brightness.

I like the side-by-side UK 2AAA, too. For a small keychain light, I haven't found anything brighter.

Both of the UKE 2 AAA lights use the same lamp replacement so I am guessing they are identical. You can swap the whole lamp part from one to the other. They are great little lights.
