What is the most calorie dense food in the world?

Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.

They may not sustain you, but they're a heck of a lot of fun.:D

If your looking for something to take along as a emergency food try a small jar of peanut butter. It lasts forever and is very high in calories and protein.

My home made ice cream recipe. Sugar, cream, eggs, sweetened condensed milk. Got to be 10,000 calories a cup! Really good stuff.

Fat is the highest density foodstuff. If you can't stomach the earlier suggestion of goosefat, you could go for olive oil...!

More realistic foodstuffs are going to be very high fat, hence the other suggestions of peanuts. Cheese would probably be another

Useless fact : Polar bears need 18,000 calories a day from fat just to survive !!!

gooose fat

3671 kcal per 100 grams

First, I really like to read W&SS. I think I've learned a fair amount from the reading I've done. I feel bad that my first post is arguing...
Um... Fat is fat, and pure fat contains approximately 9 kcal/gram. The math doesn't work out. Could you have left out a zero?

Wish I could get away with eating that much! As long as it was 18,000 calories from that bacon and cheese roll rather than seal blubber and raw fish...

Now, that's my kind of chow, although I like my bacon a little crisper than that. A slice or six of that bacon cheese roll, and peanut butter cups for desert... be still, my heart!

It does look tasty doesn't it? Someone sent it to me the other day and I haven't tried it out yet....but I intend to.
