What is the thickest blade on a ~3 inch folder?

So does anyone have any suggestions on a THICK bladed folder around 3 inches? I really only have experience with a couple Spyderco knives (PM2, Delica 4, Mini Manix) but I am looking for something that could take a little bit more abuse. Emerson's come to mind as being real tough workhorses also ZT. Pictures are always welcome but I can also search for pics with whatever suggestions you guys give.

Thanks in advance!

Strider sng is around 3 in with a thick blade. ZT 0550 or the 0301's are also good choices. Emersons are great knives and I own a few but don't have thick blades.

IIRC, the Buck/TOPS CSAR-T is around 3inches and the blade is pretty thick...Can be a little big for pocket carry depending on your pants

The Benchmade 755 MPR has a 3 inch blade made of m390 steel and it is a very beefy folder with a thick blade. It is built like a tank.

benchmade mpr is a small overbuilt folder, probably not as thick as a strider tho. Blade length is 2.9", thickness is .164"

The older Three Sisters Forge Beasts were .185, IIRC. The new ones are plenty thick too, I think .135.

The striders are pretty amazing, although out of my budget. I'd have to 'settle' on something like the MPR 755, which is more or less what I was looking for.

I guess I forgot to include my budget, let's try to keep it under $175. I can find the MPR for ~$150.

Thanks for all the suggestions so far! The Strider is on the Wish List, but don't see that happening anytime soon.

The Mantis Tough Tony has a 2.5 inch blade that's a full .25 inch thick that is allegedly made from 440v, all for under 60 bucks .... be advised that Mantis as a company has been accused of questionable business practices multiple times and really seems to cater to the Mall Ninja crowd.

Most Emersons are about .125" The Spyderco para military 2 is .137 at its thickest but with the taper that doesn't carry far. Aren't some of the Jens Anso Boker colabs pretty darn beefy?

Extrema Ratio makes the thickest-bladed folders I've seen:

The table is from my review of the Fulcrum II. You can access it by clicking on my signature.

The beefiest 3" folder I have seen is a custom made knife by Jeremy Horton called the Shawty. It has a .31" blade stock and full Ti handle. Literally a pry bar with sharpened edges.

If you're looking for 3 inches OAL blade length then maybe look at the Boker Albatros or the Boker Pipsqueak. The benchmade MPR as many have pointed out is a good option.

If you want an inexpensive one, I just picked up a Kershaw Half Ton. Blade is abut 2.5" and 0.12" thick. Cost less than $20.

If the OP must keep to less than 3", the Benchmade 755/755BK MPR are .160" of m390, while the similar Neil Blackwood designed Boker Pipsqueak runs .154" of S35VN - but has healthy Ti liners on both sides as opposed to the G10 liner/Ti liner MPR design.

Then there is the Boker Haddock - a slightly curved edge/Wharncliffe-like 3.2" long of .194" N690 steel (top, below):

The Boker Pry-Mate (bottom, above) is a moose of a short straight/Wharncliffe-like edged fixed blade of 2.75" x .279" of N690. Both of these Bokers have an ambitious hollow grind, so they have great edges - actually can thin slice overly ripe grape tomatoes!

I've EDCed all of the above, with the old plain finish 755 getting the most carry time.
