I was watching a movie called The Bleeding House and a man in it has a knife with a very unique folding mechanism. I'm posting a video because I can't capture the opening with stills (please note the blurry focus is in the film, not as a result of my camera). The blade appears to be damascus (or maybe etched steel?) and the handles some kind of wood. The only visible marking is "USA" on the bolster. Anyone seen this before?

My buddy has a Fury Paratrooper that opens like that, but the blade isn't double-edged.

great paratrooper knife, I wish someone would make a good quality production one, only ones i seem to find are customs and S&W sh!t

Thanks for the link-- very interesting. Surprised I haven't heard of these before.

Most of the samples I've seen have been flea-market junk, and this seems to be the era of one-hand-openers, which the pantographic knife isn't.
