Obviously everyone who comes to this forum is more interested in knives. There are very few new knives in 2020. Do you have your favorite knives? Let’s express opinions!

To kick this off, this is my favorite at 2020 — Freetiger FT903

Petrified Fish had a bunch of new designs this year. I don't know the backstory for their company but they are certainly one to watch. LTK verified the steel identity and hardness for their 818 earlier this year. I recently sent my 818 over to Outpost 76 for cut testing and it was top of the class for Chinese D2.

That's one of the challenges for new brands coming out of China. There is an unfortunate history of phony steel stamps and other issues. It can be hard to trust a new brand like Freetiger until a few examples of their steel get tested.

As far as better-known brands, Kizer put out some cool stuff this year. Civivi put out a few special editions of the Elementum that caught my eye. Artisan has a new steel that's essentially a PM version of 9Cr18Mov. There are new models in that steel slowly coming to market now. I definitely plan to pick up a Sea Snake and an Arroyo.

The best knives are ones that aren't piece of junk knockoffs that steal designs and patents, like Ganzo and Enlan.

Links removed.
If you want to discuss knives that’s fine, however links to your website and attempts to sell needs to be confined to the Dealer for sale forum.

Also, the sale of “clones” is forbidden on BladeForums.

Totally agree! I'll also add that knife discussion here is much better without the shilling for cloner garbage! And, I'll disagree with the OP in that there have been plenty of new things to buy in 2020!

I also got a new GITD Delica this year myself.

I would have saved a few thousand bucks if I found this one in the beginning of my learning curve. The Monterey Bay Knives EZC 2.0 is the next best choice if you can't find an original Ray made knife and want this style. I stopped buying folders after acquiring it. A Baker's Dozen of other really good knives I own don't get used anymore. My EZC and a SAK are always in my pockets.

This little beauty has been everyday in my pocket for almost two months. Made by The_Iron_Joe from BladeForums, a nice, true and upright fellow. It adds a lot to the knife experience. Consider it.
And by the way, 2020 has been a swell year, knifewise. Lots of new stuff, kitchen knives (one is still on its way) and fixed blades. There are so many creative people who put out their creations every day. I thank BladeForums for giving them the visibility they don't always get on the wide, open, global market.
