What is your favorite Microtech grind/bladetype

After finally pulling the trigger on a bayonet Ultratech, I started looking at the rest of Microtech line in detail and gaining much appreciation of their clean lines and "sexy" looks.

I chose the bayonet style blade because it seemed utilitarian while taking advantage of an OTF to have a double edge.

For you owners and admirers, what are you favorite Microtech blade styles/grinds and why?

This one is my favorite, because it's so absurdly silly and yet so totally Microtech all at the same time:

Best balloon popper in the world. I love it. So ridiculous. What steel did they end up using on this thing?

440C, I think.

You have to respect Microtech for making a high quality version of even a very silly idea.

The double edge dagger grind is classic - Microtech does a very good job on that. My absolute favorite, though, is the blade on the Amphibian.

Seeing this probably had the same effect on me that would have resulted from a media blitz informing America that Paula Dean is debuting as a UFC fighter on the next ppv event card.

I absolutely LOVE the grind on the clip point Socom Elite. Anopeen blade finish. That's by far my favorite. Gorgeous blade.

I have a custom DOC that I love:

Also, a Matrix that rocks:

A custom Whaleshark:

And a Socom Elite:

I also have a production Whaleshark in CTF-204p:

Hope you enjoy! :)

I'm quite fond of the blade shape on my Socom Elite and Scarab. Flat ground S35V or Elmax with a practical design is a thing of beauty.
