What knife would you like to see next from CPK?

I would, but the last time when I posted the photo of that table spread without asking its rightful owner first, despite the fact that the content is now a public domain content having been posted in here already without any restrictions, seemed to me that its new owner was not too thrilled.
I thought the new owner was you? Very sorry if I stepped on any toes:oops:. I don’t want to loose my place at the table.:D

Are you talking about that spread of knives on the CPK tablecover, those blades of Ivan's?

Heard some talk about skinners in here?! I'm in!

I'm still haunted daily by this thought ... Nathan put me out of my misery already.

Day dreaming of A CPK bird and trout in AEB-L OAL: 5 7/8 to 6" blade length just under 3 inches

Or even a scaled down d2 skinner in AEB-L would work too..

or Nathan's original spec'd skinner in AEB-L ...

or hell with it I'll just take a run of the mill CPK D2 skinner?? :p The latter of which is most preferred please!

A re-release, or version 2.0, of the skinner would be a huge success (doi. captain obvious. anything with a cpk logo will be).

Love me some tougher than nails knives, but I definitely want need some uber slicing, atom splitting, thin stock, hollow ground cpk skinner.

Looks familiar?;)

I wonder if there is a way to get a sticky thread that shows all the past and present models along with specs. Would probably help out folks a bit.

A 3" or less blade, with good belly. Leaf shaped blade comes to mind. Thin stock. No more than 1/8", less would be ideal. Thin scales. Something that could be used comfortably in a pinch grip for detail work. But enough handle to get a mostly full grip. A Canadian belt knife would be close, but I'd like to see the spine profile stay more in line with the grip. I like to be able to use a pinch grip then reposition my hand with my index finger riding the spine with the handle tucked into my palm somewhat seamlessly.

I think Casinostocks Casinostocks would enjoy doing this!

Thanks bud for the honorable mention but as loquacious as Unc. Matty is, I will have to take a pass on this one. A while back when Justin was a lot more active on the subforms and also when Bob was more available, I had floated the idea but Bob excused himself and Justin didn't have the time either (he was a much better CPK hound than I was) so my enthusiasm just faded away.

It's a great project but no longer for me as I think that a much younger blood is needed for this one ;)

Yes, for someone younger, and I am OLDER. Let's face it, this is not a sticky issue, it is a website issue that can be easily corrected, but best done by the website owner when time allows (as in, when he is not busy, lol).
