I think the brownish ebony is super attractive.

Yeah, I think its really attractive! I would not have picked that for ebony, as they are quite light in Colour!

Travman's in the Direct Light almost looks in the Rosewood Family.

Yea, you sure don't see very many of them Charlie, yours is a beauty! Old original single blade Barlows are not common to begin with and then a spey puts it at downright rare.
