I can see why Rob, very nice
Nice ones Rob!! Especially that rare Hollinger!!!
The Russell is in great shape, too!!
Yep - I would be surprised if that Russell has cut much in its lifetime, as the Hollinger has had a charmed life as well by the looks - quite the size difference between the two as well !
No!!! What's it say on the bolster??What makes a good traditional Barlow?
Well, not being a beat up corroded old cheapie with a broken main blade.

I paid a seller on the auction site, ten bucks to throw this one in the garbage.
Seller's photos.
One thing for sure, you'll probably never find another one with a blade as full as that one! Thanks Paul
Thanks Charlie
The Russell isn't a finished knife, grind marks on the blade, edge is flat, also has an unusual tang stamp on the pile side. Thanks Duncan.

Ha, Ha!!! Yes, and with one handle missing!!That's a very rare Barlow, most of the time the pen blade is broken,.
Charlie, you still going to do an Ancient with a broke pen?
Augie, what vintage is that beautiful Boker?
It may just be my eyes fooled by the photo angle, but it looks like a different tree stamp on the mark and pile side bolsters.Jeff, not positive but with the bone handles and swedged blade thinking 1950's to 1960's.
