@texasshipagent Very nice work with that beautiful Bocote! You created a knife that looks a lot like my Trevor Ablett designed Sheepfoot Barlow with Walnut. The triangle shape of the knife and blade when closed make the knife sit perfectly in the pocket.

@rinos Where was that beautiful photo taken?

Three beauties my friend! But that Lambsfoot has some bodacious Sambar on the mark side! :thumbsup: :D

Jack, I’ve been missing your Abbeydale Jack! Both are very nice Stag! :D

Never let it be said they don’t know how to serve BBQ in Tennessee! :eek: :D Pulled Pork Sandwich with a side of Chili, pickles and a Red Sawcut Barlow! :eek: :D

That is some neat wood (I think?).
It's some kind of ultra cheap plastic, but as you noticed it looks pretty good and given that the knife is decades old, it's held up well. I've never come across another like it. I think it deserves a little pocket time now and then.

He is trampling out the vintage where the grapes of wrath are stored;
He hath loosed the fateful lightning of His terrible swift sword;
His truth is marching on.
Glory! Glory! Hallelujah!

To mark my 1,000th post, I thought that I'd post 13 3/8" of righteousness. More practically, I'm pocketing the slender (13/32") 4-blade Kissing Crane whittler, second from the bottom. As to the grapes of wrath, I pray for a crop failure.
