Congrats on the beguiling Böker Barlow! I need to get serious about finding one of those; the bolster stamp really grabs me!

You really should! They are beautifully made. The only other vintage barlow I can compare it to is one of Imperials.

Böker is SOOO much nicer. Look at the hafting:

Imperial's imitation of bolsters and delrin is no match:

It even changed my attitude towards delrin as cover material. It held up very nicely.

My biggest gripe with the knife is that the blades are stainless.

I have a lot of delrin covered knives, and cannot think of anything tougher for a hard use knife.
