What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

@5K Qs
How do you like that Rite Edge Barlow?
The one I had was pretty nice. No blatant flaws, or defects at any rate.
I'm pretty sure I gave it to a friend who needed a good, nothing fancy work knife.
"Someday" I might get another one.

Wow, that's really unique! I'm assuming that you have to press pretty precisely to disengage the lock? Otherwise the natural pressure of the finger while cutting would disengage it.
Yeah, it takes a very deliberate and direct upward push on the checkered tab to unlock it. Cutting pressure on the edge wedges the lock tighter...I cut up a bunch of potatoes and asparagus for dinner tonight and it's ridiculously rock solid (and slicey:D).

That's really cool, and it is exceptionally thin, too. Thanks for sharing pictures of it, and the patent pictures, too!

The brand new GEC Easy Pocket Congress arrived in mail today.

A couple from Schatt & Morgan today; a daddy Barlow and a large gunstock stockman. :)
Much thanks JJ. The cover(show side) on your S&M Daddy Barlow knocks me out, and the Stockman ain’t too shabby either.:thumbsup:

@pmek5 - Thank you kindly, Tim. Trust me...Your TC Barlow is equally stellar.

@Will Power - Best wishes for the return of that fine knife.

@5K Qs - Thank you GT. Your Sowbelly Stockman for the win, in part because of that fabulous background. The Klaas mini canoe is a beaut.

Thanks for sharing your opinion on my idle question, JJ. :)

I always enjoy seeing your multiple carries Gary :) :thumbsup:

Ask and you shall receive. My hunting hiatus went from end of deer season (empty handed) into duck season (been lucky so far) and now it bleeds into rabbit season. I'm glad to be back on the Porch and am totin' these two today - Case and Cunningham.
