awhile back i started a thread on bending 360 brass it was suggested i use another type besides 360. what brass will allow manipulation? yet allow easy maching like 360 does and also polishes nice?

cartridge brass , 260, is the most ductile and will take a nice polish. No brass is really difficult to machine. The leaded brasses [easiest to machine] have limits to bending.

The harder the brass (or copper or aluminum etc), the better it machines, but the worse it bends. It can be annealed for bending, though it dents and scratches easier.
