What type of steel is used in the IRT (Indian Ridge Traders) kitchen knife blanks?

Jantz has a full line of these IRT kitchen knife blanks, but no information on what steel is used. I've emailed Jantz but no response yet. I've tried google searching but can't find any information on them. Texas Knife Supply has one of the IRT blades mixed in with their Russell Green River blades which makes me think it may be carbon steel.

Anyone know?
 
They are carbon steel but don't know what kind.
