I figured I'd ask you Kershawites 1st
If not I'll ask the venerable Mr. Bernard R. Levine and his forum cutlery zealots for some help

Was this knife designed for cutting steak?
Cutting carrots?
Cutting ropes?
Cutting home intruders?
Any idea as to the year?

I think it's either a steak knife or some "utility"/outdoor/sportsmen's knife from the early 90's
Does Kershaw sell any similar knives today?
I'm thinking of making it my main camping steak knife
Thanks all..................

I don't think its all that old a design. I think that family of kitchen cutlery was still in the Kershaw catalog within the last 7 years or so. I had a 6-inch utility shaped like a scaled-down chefs knife in our office kitchen for a while. It had a rather abrasion resistant blade. It was obviously a kitchen knife, but was built and proportioned more like a field knife.

LOL!!!!!
RARE Vintage Kershaw SANDWICH knife!!! L@@K!!!!

I found it a a thrift shop for .95 cents
If you guys were gonna tell me it'll "make a good tent stake" I was gonna replay that it was probably cheaper than most tent stakes at my local Big 5 Sporting Goods store

While your knife may never have had an official mall-ninja name, it really does the job. Lots of deer have been skinned using a model M1926 haversack knife (mess kit knife). If the knife is well put together it can do serious work for you.
