What watches would look good with NATO straps?

I would get a Marathon watch, but they tend to have acrylic crystals. Does anyone know of a good quality watch that would look decent with a NATO strap? I'm considering a Luminox Cadet. Even though I haven't heard the greatest things about luminox. Every time I do a search on Luminox on the forums, Ron@SOG is always saying he's fully satisfied with his.

Thanks,

Jeff

Marathon watches for sale. Great site about military watches. If you got some cash over after Christmas check out the Marathon Dive watch on that site. If you are lucky they might got one or two left.

The Marathon SAR is IMHO to big and overpowering for a Nato strap.

The nylon straps look better with the thinner issue watches. The UK issues CWC dive watches , about $350 to their personnel and the pins are fixed so they cannot be removed. It comes on a Nato strap. This is a quartz watch.

Marathon Navigator, about $125,(current US issue) and the Navigator Stainless, about $225, come with and look great with the Nato strap. These watches also have tritium hands and dial indices. They are also quartz.

Finally don't overlook the Seiko 200m divers automatic. It looks great with the Nato strap and the cost is about $150 to $225 depending on were you shop.

Wow, you seem to know what you´re talking about. Great pic´s.

Just a question:

The Marathon Dive watch I mentioned earlier have you seen any comparison pictures with a Citizen divewatch (for size reference)?

I´m really interested in the Marathon watch but I´m afraid that it might be wrong size. I mean the Seiko dive watch you mentioned is about the same diameter but only half as thick as the Marathon dive watch.

Any opinions?

Thanks,
Colinz
