The little guys are "Thick Bellies" all .125 15N20 @ 60rc with a variety of handles. 2.5" blade, 4.5" overall.
The Chef knives are .072 15N20 @ 62rc the top one is Stabilized tasmanian blackwood and the bottom one is stabilized sugi cedar. 7.25" blade, 12" overall.
It's always nice to make BigBear, it's a challenging knife but it has a really beautiful design. Below are some steps of the realization before the tempering process.
Here's a new one, Four Bevel “Fighter” – in .195” 440C, professional HT 59/60 and hand sanded to P2000 grit for a highly reflective satin finish. It's 9 7/8” OAL, 1 7/8” tall, 5 9/16” tip to scales.
Leopardwood scales with red and white liner and four 1/8” stainless pins. Whadda y'all think?
I think that one of my friends would be very happy tomorrow with this piece of 2.5mm thick M35 steel , this thing will cut And I think that I like this bamboo handle , I will use it more . . .
Bevels are machine finish , 40 grit ceramic on 40m/s ..... 8000 SFPM in USA numbers .
Still working on taking better pictures but here is an 8” gyuto in Cpm154 with black g10 scales. This was supposed to be my personal knife but a last minute Christmas request stole it away. I know need to get some better lighting for my box

I can and I have it ready for HT now.
It'll have some figured olive wood scales to give it a nice "euro-touch".
The little sheepfoot has a three finger handle and will be my first time working with mammoth.

Two new frame lock flippers off the bench. One is stabilized Koa with a .040 ti liner and damascus lock, the other is Sambar stag. Both with Alabama Damascus and Ti pocket clips.
