Work in progress on first hidden hardware liner lock with a bolster. This will have completely hidden hardware with zirc bolster and clip.
Nice. Finished in plenty of time for Halloween.View attachment 1368081
Just finished this one. Blade is .250” A2 coated with graphite Cerakote. The handle is G10 and rubber layers, very grippy stuff especially when wet.
Yeah definitely not the look that I normally go for, but my customer wanted a knife to carry around his property in west Texas. We wanted it to stand out if he sits it in the ground or maybe stabs it in a cactus or something. Not sure but you can see this one for sure.Nice. Finished in plenty of time for Halloween.
I like the choice of A2 steel. I made a batch of A2 blades a long time ago and although I've moved to C3V and others, I still love the edge it will take and the performance.Yeah definitely not the look that I normally go for, but my customer wanted a knife to carry around his property in west Texas. I really like the wood, what is it?
I love that one. Something special about the handle. How is the diamond film to work with. I see that true grit now has diamond belts.270 mm Gyuto order

Full tapered tang
Bog oak and ironwood
it's very good to work with, it's just very expensive.I love that one. Something special about the handle. How is the diamond film to work with. I see that true grit now has diamond belts.
Here’s an 80crv2 blade that I’ve been working on. I still have a few things to do then it’ll be ready for the scales.
Definitely!!!! I was planning on it while shaping the scales.Round those sharp corners at the butt end. They'll hurt your hand
Zirc came in today so started on bolsters
It always amazed me how fast something can go from looking “meh” to great once cleaned up.
