anyone here from new york? or know what kinda of knives are legal in new york city? im doin a project this summer with some friends and we're not guna wanna go without some kind of self defense but we also don't want to be carrying illegal knives in the city.
 
In the past and I think still is -4" max to carry.Of course no autos ,switch blades etc.
 
knifenerd- Does that mean a folder in a belt sheath (for example a Buck 110) is illegal there if not covered by a jacket or shirt?
