Buck 110 everyday for almost 40 years so far.

My second choice would be a LoomFixer

PM2 and LW Manix 2 are my favorites for EDC. In my EDC rotation I have 3 versions of the PM2 (S110V, M4, K390) and 2 versions of the LW M2 (S110V, Rex45). I consider the LW M2 Rex45 to be my best work knife for working in my garage.
We have these occasional threads about tip up vs. tip down carry, people pick a side and say "I would never buy... ". Well notice that one of my favorites is tip down and the other is tip up. I figured out if you pick sides you miss out on a lot of good knives so I buy what I like without consideration of the carry type, and I learn to operate it.

At least for knives, it's less about finding the one true wife and more about having a great harem.

None of the knives listed made my harem. The only Spyderco that makes it without modification is the Wharncliffe Dragonfly. It sometimes goes alone but usually tags along with other knives. Otherwise, I have a modified Smock and modified Sage 5 that dominate my "Spyderco Saturdays".

Other notable knives include most versions of the Kizer Gemini, designed by Ray Laconico. It might be my favorite design for a smaller EDC knife. In the next size category down, I'll often carry the Mini Domin or Mini Begleiter but I don't love them in the same way. The full-sized Sheepsfoot Domin might be my favorite knife for 2022. The Beacon and Seer from WE both see a lot of pocket time but those too have been modified.

I like so many on that list. My rotation currently consists of the Hogue Ritter RSk, the Shaman, ZT 0562 and others on that list. Right now the most carried is either the Hogue or Shaman.

I carry a lot of different knives, but I think my favorite actual edc is my old Wenger SAK. I carry it most days in my front left pocket as a companion to whatever's clipped to my front right pocket. But the SAK is almost always more truly useful except for speedily whipping a knife out to cut something quickly.

If I were to say the "main" knives that I carry most out of my collection I'd say: Benchmade Bugout with the plasticy scales, Kizer Guru, CRK small micarta Sebenza with opening hole, Pena X series Apache, and Benchmade Ritter grip with Wilkins Ti scales.

I find myself doing the same.....carrying a Spyderco of some sort (usually the Techno 2) and a SAK, usually the Pioneer X but sometimes a Tinker.

The older I get, the smaller my EDC needs get.

Also the older I get, the less I use my traditionals due to negotiating the nail nicks with arthritic hands...

I like my youngest daughter the best ….no wait…. I like my middle daughter more….no wait….it’s my oldest daughter that I favor most….lol
about the same as asking me which knife I like more 😂
But…you’re in luck as right now I like this one above the rest…for now anyway 😇

My EDC is a Leatherman Wave in a horizontal belt sheath.

When I wear a suit (church, weddings, funerals) I go to a Hen and Rooster pseudo-pen in my jacket pocket.
