Sorry to hear that...what is it about them that you dislike?
Nothing is all things to all people.
Good thing you don't have to spend big bucks(;)) to find that out.

I get it, I only have one 110 (and a 112), but I ALWAYS have a 110. It's been lost, given away, etc but always replaced.
The thing is like carrying a brick if you pocket carry and I can't always wear a sheath. But you should keep it. It's the perfect do it all knife. It's really all you need for hunting, camping, hiking, working around the house or farm etc. You can't get a sturdier knife for 4X the price.
But, yeah, not really an edc for most people.

I really cant put my finger on it but the 110 just doesn't click.. BUT..I have had other knives in the past that I got and kept them and later on they seemed to gel.. So I am going to keep the 110 and see what happens down the road..
Now I do like all the awesome handled 110 that all of yinz have posted so who knows..
Mike.. Thanks for that.. Just got to handle one to see how it feels..;)
Also.. My post was not to say anything bad about BUCK as I have a dozen or so that are here to stay and loved!!:D

Back in the early 1980s I didn’t really have any appeal for the 110 and similar sized folders. I mostly liked the stockman for my pocket and a fixed blade for bigger chores. I was very limited in my perspective. Then around 1984 I was out camping and fishing for a weekend and had momentarily misplaced my stockman and my fixed blade was a bit big for some of the tasks I had to do. Then a friend down a ways from me came over and offered a large lock back folder to use till I found my stockman, I’m not sure if it was a 110 but it was very similar. I used it for a few hours and I was impressed with its utilization. I finally found my stockman but realized I was missing out. I tried out an off brand I bought from a Mac tool truck and it did okay but didn’t keep an edge to well. Then in 1989 I bought a 110 Damascus stag through BPS and I was definitely impressed. I still have it and a dozen more now. The Buck 110 is probably one of the most useful knives I’ve ever had and I wouldn’t want to be without one. I love em !

I've been wanting to build some of these combos since Buck offered the prototype Micarta handles on some of the fixed blades. This is the 103 &105 set. Using the best leather Ive been trying to stock pile. Micarta and Leather, what a patina this will develop over use and time.

Fantastic!

I've wanted a similar setup for years! I wish these micarta models came with these knives as a standard option@

I'm officially jealous!

Very nice work Mike. That’s a sweet set up
