The studs are back on and the blade is reprofiled and sharpened.

Yee-haw!

Noticed something cool:

The thumbstuds both have a little lip that fits into the blade so that the screw that joins them isn't taking direct force when the blade is closed or popped open.

Yet another unadvertised advance in folder-making design and functionality!

That feature also allows to tighten up on the thumbstud, without the opposite one turning in kind, preventing tightening.
