Where is my English police truncheon?

Does anyone know if Cold Steel has given up on bringing out their promised English police truncheon? If so it's a shame, especially for fans of the TV show "Ripper Street".

Midway has them too.

Came here to post this. Midway is rarely the cheapest on anything, in my experience, but in this case I think they have them for under $20 shipped (so long as you buy $25 worth of stuff).

EDIT: Too be honest, I just learned about these when I read this thread. Personally I'm thinking something like a blackjack would be far more practical.

Even Walmart has them.
Don't think the Bobbie's carrying around blackjacks would go over well with the media.

Thanks a lot guys. I guess my local Canadian knife store, which brings in virtually all Cold Steel products, hasn't received their shipment yet.

Just bought the remaining two at an Army/Navy surplus store north of Boston. Clerk told me they were discontinued, and sold them for 20 each. (Must not have sold well for CS due to various state restrictions on Coshes, etc.) Certainly would have done the job for any appointee of Sir Robert Peel.

On a side note: David Morrell, author of original “First Blood” novel, has a trilogy of Victorian-era mysteries with Thomas DeQuincey (actual author of “Confessions of an English Opium Eater” as the protagonist). Fun reads, and great flavor of the period.

Thanks for the heads up, loved the Brotherhood Series.

curious. what are y'all using this for? collectible or some use for it? thanks

View attachment 893445 These are assorted stealth fish billies. They get longer when you swing them. Hard for the fish to duck. They work best for fish that do all their fighting after they’re in the boat, like northern pike.
Don’t get caught with these when you’re out of your boat.

For me, nothing in particular. Just saw the two in an “Army Barracks” in Salem. I have other “percussion instruments” from CS, and thought I’d add them.

Sort of a curiosity, really. The actual grip is a bit slick, and the butt end is a bit too small - a hard swing, and you’d lose it. I think a Brooklyn Shorty would be more real-world.
