Where on your belt do you wear your sheath?

I'm interested where on the belt do users find their sheath most comfortable?
This would be for vertical carry of a hunter-length knife. For ease of access but also ease of movement/sitting.

Most of mine are in a sheath that swings free - typical scandinavian style.Left side when usually carrying heat otherwise right side !

I wear mine on my belt on the right-rear, so the sheath slides into the pocket of my jeans...less noticeable to the tree-huggers.

I wear mine on the mid-to-front right. If I want to be more discrete, I put the end of the sheath into the front right pocket.

I don't waer a sheath much, but when I do its on my right side...I do however wear a Zippo nylon sheath on my front left side sometimes...Its small enough to wear comfortably...

EDIT: I would like to add Im a big man, and for the most part I think bigger men don't like verticle sheaths since they dig into our.....um cough* cough* stomach muscles, lol...

I wear mine kindly like Troop....right side hip (sometimes the sheath does go inside the right pocket: but NOT for the benefit of a tree hugger or other weak-kneed crybaby). I wear it there for right-hand access and so the handle doesn;t interfere with bending over.

Left side, including if I'm wearing a belt over an outdoor coat

Must admit I've had a couple of nasty moments getting in the car....A Bark River Nebula's handle recently hurt my ribs preety badly(forgot it was there) time for a bootknife:D

Right side, guess you would call it 3:00 position. Sometimes wear if further around if I have a firearm holstered. I don't wear a belt sheathed knife very often unless I'm in the woods. Usually just have pocket knife(s).

I wear the belt sheath for folders on my right side, and wear the fixed blade with a proper left handed sheath on my left side. I am left handed so this arrangement works well. I also carry a Spyderco police clipped to my left pocket.

I wear my gameskeeper (part of my edc)on my back right hip, between the second and third beltloops. So it sits by the back right pocket.

On the rare occasion that I wear a belt sheath, I wear it on my right side just above my pants pocket.

In belt carry, left side mid, hanging free or strapped to leg. Left side because knife is easier to draw and sheath, I have a visual if needed and it doesn't interfere with upright and crouched movement when it's positioned in the middle. The strap helps to manipulate with one hand only but is of slight discomfort.

Not that it interests many but when wearing armor and battle vest the sheath is attached on my vest left side. Things get more complicated due to bulk and I don't necessarily see what I'm wearing on my belt. Vest carry offers easier and faster access and is safer. My multitool is in a pistol mag pouch on my vest. Vest carry also offers additional benefits when working in vehicles.

Either side on belt works fine, depending on what knife I'm carrying. Most often it's on the left side, though, on the belt, or on the left side vest strap, upside down.

Where does one get a nice leather sheath like that?

I got them from a Canadian leather smith on Ebay. However, I just did a search and don't see his advertisements anymore. I sent him an email and asked if he is still making them. If or when I get a response, I'll post to this thread.

Here are some pics of the Ruckus sheath he made for me. Both the Manix and Ruckus sheaths were modified to my design for a faster draw (more knife exposed and canted forward).
