Where to buy a new SAK?

I will hopefully be getting a new SAK for my Bday. I think that I have decided on the Swiss Champ. I have not purchased a SAK in several years. The one that I have has just lasted soooo long and is still in great shape. Anyway, where will I get the best price on a new SAK? I want to shop somewhere reputable and affordable. Thank you!

yup, another vote for Felinevet (Tim) great guy, great deals and he helps animals with his business (and the people who can't pay the bills).

I have to make it unanimous - I have bought several pieces from felinevet and they have been great. Price and service is par none.

I just look for whatever is cheapest on ebay, as long as the seller's feedback is at or very near 100%.

FelineVet is the seller that I always check with first. He's a great guy, his prices are stellar, and his service is better than anyone else I've found.

I checked out his site. He seems to have different versions of the SwissChamp. The one in black has one more tool showing in the pic than the clear red one. Maybe I will have to give him a call.

The Ruby Red one is a home photo and one of the tools was not shown open.

Not discouraging you from the others, but if those don't work out, Amazon always seems to have nice prices on Victorinox Swiss Army Knives.

Ditto, ditto, and ditto. Not only does he have the best stock on hand, Tim (FelineVet) is a great guy to deal with, and supplies lots of free advice on this and other forums. Plus, he supports cats, so he's got to be a great guy. You might find a SAK for a dollar or two cheaper, but personally I'd rather buy from someone who supports the community. You also then don't have to deal with the potential rip offs and uncertainties of auction sites and unknown online vendors.

I buy from Tim (Felinevet) or Gary Della (Dellas Knives on ebay) or dellasknivesdotcom. Both outstanding gentlemen.

FelineVet has very attractive pricing on new and used SAKs. I have bought from him several times, though I have also bought on eBay with good experiences too.

Another vote for Tim at felinevet. Great service and quick response to all my questions before I bought my Swisstool from him.

I have not bought from Tim at felinevet, but I have browsed his store and he has several unique pieces. I have no doubt that he's trustworthy.

My personal experience has been with Chelsea Watch at Amazon and Gary Della (dellasknives11) at eBay, both positive.

Yep, another vote to begin the search with Felinevet - I've gotten several items from the "experienced" class of knives - and they've all been very nice at a great price - and like others have said - some of what you buy goes to help others!
Peace
Revvie

Just to be clear about FelineVet: he makes no profit on his sales. Rather, any profit that he makes goes to a charitable foundation (a legitimate 501(c)(3) organization) that pays for life-and-death veterinary services for cats whose owners have not way to pay for those services. So, not only is he an excellent vendor with a stellar reputation, but all the net profits go to help the kitties. What a win-win situation!

- Tim (not FelineVet Tim, just another SAK collector who thinks the world of FelineVet Tim)

Another vote for FelineVet Tim. He's good to do business with and ships to Canada. I appreciate that (being I'm in Canada).

Chelsea Watch on Amazon, bought quite a few pieces there. Also the e-pray thing ~ got a new Bantam for $7 including shipping! Looked like it was old stock from a hardware store by the packaging.
